just a couple of months ago I told you about the most unusual festivals in the world: the monkey feast in India, throwing pumpkins in the U.S., the festival of colors in India, Orange slaughter in Italy. also in a separate article devoted to the Festival called “Tomatina” in Colombia. And so my friends I pulled another 9 very amazing festivals of different Nations. I want to share them with you. Let’s start. 1. Naki Sumo – the festival of crying babies (Japan)

Any mother feels bad when her baby crying, but during this festival, loud crying is a big advantage. Every year in the castle Sensoji in Tokyo, is more than 400 years of history, the purpose of which – to calm fretful children, and to maintain their health. Two adult sumo wrestler lifts him into the air little children and grimaces trying to scare them to such an extent that the baby roared all he was worth. The judge listens carefully to both children and determines the winner. Parents voluntarily sending their children to participate in this competition, believing that it helps to ward off evil spirits and protect them through life.
